As the interregnum draws down to its last hours, a couple of things have happened.

Aside from a country nearly turned upside-down, the year changed — which meant that a new WordPress theme came out: TwentyTwentyOne. I am someone who needs to know more intimately than not how it works.

The other news is I’ve decided to try to write more about what I read, now that I’ve been reading a lot more again. Life and literature can combine in some really interesting ways and in this vein, I’d like to play more with the fertility of those pairings. Or do I want to work in publishing? Maybe the process of writing will help me find out.

So I’m combining these two aspects (new theme, literary direction) and making a segue to books.jennys.dev, while keeping this site alive and periodically growing as its tree trunk.
